In its annual recognition of 10 women innovators and game changers by Fortune magazine, Payal Kadakia, the CEO and co-founder of ClassPass and Artistic Director of The Sa Dance Company has been named among the most promising businesswomen of 2015.

Payal Kadakia, a new age entrepreneur or “dancetrepreneur” as she is famously called, has been in the entrepreneurial journey since the age of 3.According to her website, she started training in Indian classical and folk styles of dance at a very early age. ClassPass is a membership program for fitness classes with the aim of making working out more accessible.

One thing that stands out is that Class Pass is only two-year-old but has successfully  booked over 7 million fitness class reservations.Bollywood dance style and its integration in various fitness programmes is catching up in western countries. The bollywood numbers are nowadays increasingly used by dance/fitness centres. And as ‘being fit’ is the new in thing, more and more new fitness startups are likely to come up.

Every year, Fortune has been crowning 10 innovators, groundbreakers and game changers as ‘Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs. At a Fortune summit in Washington,10 Most Promising Women Entrepreneurs will be honored.
