Recently, a Rajasthan-based IT startup Ready Bytes Software Labs, was included as one of the invitees  in the first India-U.S. Startup Konnect in the Silicon Valley organized by the NASSCOM, TiE, and IIM Ahmedabad’s CIIE India . Ready Bytes Software Labs which offers Open Source Joomla products and ecommerce Solutions, made it to a highly competitive list of Startups with more than 14 Startups in the domain of IT, directly or indirectly.

The products that they provide include PAYPLANS(a membership software), PAYCART(a shopping cart) and PAYINVOICE which is an invoicing software among others. These solutions leverage technology to provide high end services to the clients of this company and other stakeholders involved. In a highly competitive pool of Startups which include the likes of Aquas Technologies, a California-based startup that provides nano-tech based water purification solutions, BleeTech, which is a Pune based that produces wearable gadgets and Eco-BLAC Bricks, created by a group of students from MIT in order to provide energy efficient solutions in Indian slums, getting a seat was no small task.

According to some  of the visitors in the India-U.S. Startup Konnect, they were impressed by the prototypes and ideas presented there and services provide by most of the Startups, including the services provided by Ready Bytes Software Labs.

At a time when most of the Indian Startups are trying to settle in big cities including Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune, especially IT ones, it is worth mentioning that this Startup runs from Bhilwara, Rajasthan. But this is one of the sides of footloose industries where location factors are not determined by conventional sense, and a computer and internet connectivity is sometimes enough for you to launch your company.

According to Ready Bytes Software Labs, they “focus on simplifying human interaction with state-of-art technological solution”. Shyam Sunder Verma, who is the CEO of Ready Bytes Software Labs has experience in the field of Software and at the same time has some teaching and research experience.

At a time when Make In India initiative is kicking on, its important for the government to give boost to the growth of Startups in India. Involving relevant ministries on-board in the Make in India initiative and promoting Startup culture in colleges and Universities should be the long term objective for the government.
