Islander Outlet is a recently launched company and we’ve really heard a lot of great things about this brand from those who have tried out their products. How interviewed the company executive to know more about the brand and future plans.
What were the initial challenges faced by the company while launching this brand?
The main thing was to plan how to really reach people in Poquoson. The brands that had been commonplace for merchandise for the people here has been really too similar, we just wanted a new way to reach and change the dynamic.
How do you differentiate yourself from other clothing brands?
We differentiate by putting together unique designs. Our team is highly creative when it comes to this and we are extremely happy to have such talented people working for us.
Tell us more about the range of products offered by you.
We currently offer shirts, but are expanding to sweatshirts, mugs, bumper stickers, hats, and other merchandise in the very near future.
Do you Ship Internationally too?
Yes! Wherever there is a true Bull Islander, we will ship it to them.
What are your plans for 2019.
We plan to really reach out and give back to the community. Definitely we are looking to donate a percentage to our charities, scholarships, and extracurriculars in the city.
We are really trying to create the most unique and fun designs to build a greater sense of identity of what it means to be from such a lovely small town like Poquoson. We are looking forward to being that brand this city can rally behind.
