Spectro Cloud, a leading provider of AI infrastructure management software, has announced the successful completion of an oversubscribed Series D funding round, raising more than $100 million. The investment was led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, with strategic participation from AMD Ventures, Ericsson, LG Technology Ventures, and Maximus.
With this latest round, Spectro Cloud’s total funding now stands at $260 million. The company plans to use the new capital to strengthen its mission of enabling enterprises, public sector organizations, neoclouds, and sovereign cloud providers to build and manage production-ready AI infrastructure with improved governance, security, and cost efficiency.
Growing Demand for AI Infrastructure Management
Organizations worldwide are investing billions of dollars in AI chips and compute infrastructure. However, hardware alone is not enough to deliver real AI outcomes. Transforming raw compute resources into scalable, secure, and production-ready AI infrastructure requires sophisticated software capable of managing deployment, governance, security, and ongoing operations.
As AI inference workloads continue to expand across production environments, organizations increasingly need solutions that optimize infrastructure utilization, reduce operational costs, enforce governance policies, and maintain flexibility across distributed environments.
PaletteAI Simplifies AI Infrastructure Operations
To address these challenges, Spectro Cloud offers PaletteAI, a platform designed to provide a unified operating model for platform teams and cloud providers.
PaletteAI enables organizations to build, govern, operate, and scale AI infrastructure ranging from GPU clusters and AI factories to distributed inference environments. The platform combines full-stack lifecycle management with portability across multiple environments, support for different silicon providers, and flexibility across AI models, allowing customers to reach production faster while avoiding vendor lock-in.
“Silicon is the starting point for AI infrastructure, but software is what transforms that infrastructure into business value,” said Tenry Fu, CEO and co-founder of Spectro Cloud.
He added that organizations are at different stages of their AI journeys—whether modernizing legacy infrastructure, expanding Kubernetes and edge operations, or building AI factories, sovereign clouds, and neocloud services. According to Fu, Spectro Cloud provides a consistent platform that simplifies operational complexity while preserving flexibility across AI models and hardware.
Goldman Sachs Alternatives Backs Spectro Cloud’s Growth
Commenting on the investment, Mike Reilly, Managing Director at Growth Equity within Goldman Sachs Alternatives, said infrastructure has become one of the biggest obstacles to enterprise AI adoption.
He noted that Spectro Cloud’s platform enables organizations to deploy AI across heterogeneous infrastructure while maintaining the governance, operational control, and flexibility required by large enterprises. As AI workloads increasingly move into production, he believes centralized infrastructure management platforms will become essential.
Funding to Support Product Innovation and Global Expansion
Spectro Cloud plans to utilize the Series D investment across three strategic priorities.
Product Development
The company will continue expanding PaletteAI’s capabilities to help customers maximize AI infrastructure utilization, reduce token costs, and strengthen governance across large-scale AI deployments.
Go-to-Market Expansion
Spectro Cloud intends to accelerate adoption among enterprises, government organizations, neocloud providers, and sovereign cloud operators. The company also plans to strengthen its presence across Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific (APJ/APAC) regions, where demand for AI cloud services continues to grow rapidly.
Ecosystem Growth
The funding will also support deeper partnerships across the AI infrastructure ecosystem, including collaborations with silicon manufacturers, hardware vendors, system integrators, and distribution partners.
AMD Highlights the Growing Importance of Production AI Infrastructure
AMD Ventures’ investment reflects the industry’s shift toward treating AI infrastructure as a production platform rather than simply a collection of compute resources.
Patrick Rundell of AMD Ventures said that as AI adoption grows, inference workloads are becoming a major driver of infrastructure demand. He noted that Spectro Cloud’s platform addresses key challenges faced by enterprises deploying large-scale production inference environments and expressed support for the company’s next stage of growth.
Strong Enterprise Adoption Continues
The latest funding follows Spectro Cloud’s growing momentum across infrastructure modernization, edge computing, and AI infrastructure deployments.
Organizations including T-Mobile, Airbus, and the U.S. Air Force rely on Spectro Cloud to manage mission-critical infrastructure across enterprise and public sector environments. The company is also supporting large-scale legacy infrastructure modernization projects, including virtual machine migration initiatives involving tens of thousands of VMs.
In distributed edge environments, customers across industries such as restaurants, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, oil and gas, and defense are using Spectro Cloud to manage infrastructure across extensive physical locations. Companies including Yum! Brands are leveraging the platform to power digital customer experiences today while preparing for AI-enabled operations in the future.
PaletteAI Gains Momentum Across AI Infrastructure
Since launching PaletteAI in October 2025, Spectro Cloud has seen increasing adoption among enterprises, public sector organizations, neocloud providers, and sovereign cloud operators.
For cloud providers, the platform helps accelerate the delivery of AI services while enabling them to expand beyond infrastructure capacity into higher-value AI offerings.
Spectro Cloud’s AI infrastructure strategy is further strengthened through its NVIDIA-validated architecture for AI factory deployments and its participation in the NVIDIA IGX and Jetson ecosystems.
About Spectro Cloud
Spectro Cloud develops software that enables platform teams and cloud providers to modernize and manage infrastructure for the AI era while reducing operational complexity.
Its PaletteAI platform allows organizations to build, govern, and operate infrastructure across virtual machines, Kubernetes, edge deployments, regulated and air-gapped environments, and AI infrastructure. The company also offers PaletteAI Launchpads, which help organizations quickly address priorities such as VMware migration, token cost optimization, and edge modernization before scaling to enterprise-wide lifecycle management and governance.
